<p>This time of year makes New Orleans the ideal location for a bike week…warm enough to ride in from the north, but not hot enough in the tropics for a hurricane.  “Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler”, or “Let the Good Times Roll” is the theme for the 2010 Bike Week New Orleans, May 5th thru 9th all combined with its signature southern hospitality, amazing local cuisine, brilliant music scene and jaw dropping scenery.</p>
<p>Filled with endless music, Bad Company former lead singer Brian Howe, Country Music’s Sammy Kershaw, former New Orleans Saint Kyle Turley and the unique Wayne Toups and Zy DeCajun will compliment the Broken Spoke’s Ferrell Webber band plus a ton of great cover bands and outrageous comedian Gallagher will be splitting a few melons, and your sides, with his Stuck in the 60’s tour, plus motorcycle displays, amazing cuisine, bars, shopping, and fun…the Wall of Death, Freestyle Motocross and the Ball of Steel will amaze you.  The Limpnickie Lot builders, G. Smith Motorsports, Bourget Motorcycles and Can Am Spyder Roadsters (with demo rides!) are providing just some of the custom motorcycles chrome eye candy along with the world-famous girls of the <a href="http://www.bikeweekneworleans.com/index.html" target="_blank">Broken Spoke Saloon</a> all at the main festival grounds right on the banks of the Mississippi River at the “Riverwalk”.</p>
<p>For the 2nd Annual Bike Week New Orleans, Jay Allen &amp; Broken Spoke Saloon have partnered with the <a href="http://www.houseofblues.com/venues/clubvenues/neworleans/" target="_blank">House of Blues</a> as their French Quarter party site.  This legendary “House of Blues” music hall will be the Broken Spoke Saloon for Bike Week, bringing you the very best of the French Quarter charm &amp; entertainment.  The Plantation Poker Run will take you to several beautiful and plantations.  Grab your cards at each stop and play your hand back at the Broken Spoke “Riverwalk”, maybe you will win that Harley-Davidson Sportster, donated by the City of New Orleans and Hurricane Harley-Davidson.  Additional prizes will be given out during New Orleans Bike Week for the Broken Spoke Campground in Sturgis for the 70th Anniversary.  Log on now at <a href="http://www.bikeweekneworleans.com/winabike.html" target="_blank">Bike Week New Orleans</a> to register to win the grand prize, a gorgeous limited edition Bourget Retro Chopper courtesy of Bourget’s Bike Works.  More information and details, plus the full music and entertainment lineup can be found online at <a href="http://www.bikeweekneworleans.com" target="_blank">Bikeweek New Orleans</a>.</p>
