E-TX Urban Electric Concept Futuristic Sportbike by French Designer Bako

April 6, 2010 by Boss Hawg · 1 Comment

As we become more and more green and Eco conscious so do the designers of our motorcycles.  Day after day more and more urban electric concept vehicles are coming from designers’ computers such as French designer Bako has with this E-TX Urban motorcycle design to ensure zero emissions.  The E-TX Urban Electric Concept Sportbike will be completely electric and can be recharged through electrical AC outlet.  It will be powered by a Roadson Etronic 16 generator that develops a whopping 132.5 kW or 177.6 electric horsepower thus turning this motorcycle design into one powerful heart thumping wheelie popping sports oriented custom motorcycle.

French designer Bako claims the futuristic sports bike design of the E-TX Urban will have a maximum top speed of 240 km or 149.14 mph produced through the Roadson Etronic 16 generator.  My thoughts are that the E-TX Urban Electric Concept Sportbike design seems to be inspired by BMW bikes in part.  The length of the bike is 2040 mm or 80.3 inches with a designed seat height 760 mm or 29.9 which is about the same as a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic touring motorcycle.  This will become very interesting when KTM develops a sports motorcycle to the next level since they debuted the KTM Freeride zero emissions at the Tokyo International Motorcycle Show March 26.
